NSCDC Commandant General Pays Working Visit to North West, Lauded by Governor Uba Sani

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, OFR, has commenced an operational tour of NSCDC State Commands in the North West, starting with Kaduna State. During his visit, he paid a courtesy call on the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, accompanied by heads of sister security agencies.

Babawale explained that Governor Sani has expressed delight at the visit, highlighting the improved working relationship among security agencies in the state. He noted that this synergy would further strengthen the current security situation, but appealed for more intelligence sharing, emphasizing that security is a collective responsibility. The governor commended the NSCDC’s operational activities in Kaduna State, describing them as “first among equals” and urging them not to relent.
In his remarks, Commandant General Audi saluted the governor’s efforts in curbing criminal activities in the state, which have led to a drastic reduction in crime. He expressed gratitude for the support and warm reception the NSCDC has enjoyed in Kaduna State.
The visit underscores the commitment to interagency collaboration and collective security efforts in the region. By working together, the security agencies aim to maintain peace and stability in Kaduna State and beyond.
The Commandant General also visited the Emir of the Zazzau Emirate Mallam Ahmid Nuhu Bamali. CFR in his palace where the CG received Royal blessings.
While addressing the officers and men of the Corps in Kaduna State, the Commandant General thanked them for a job well done in carrying out their statutory responsibilities in Kaduna State emphasizing the need for improved professionalism and commitment.
