The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Bako Lalong, has congratulated elder statesman and former Chairman of Shendam Local Government Area, Miskoom Sebastine Sambo Alkali, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Senator Lalong described the celebrant as a grassroots politician, seasoned public servant and accomplished personality whose contributions to the development of Shendam Local Government Area and Plateau State remain invaluable.
He said Miskoom Alkali belongs to the generation of leaders who laid a solid foundation for grassroots administration through selfless service, integrity and commitment to the welfare of the people.
According to Senator Lalong, the celebrant served the people of Shendam with dignity, capacity and excellence, earning the respect and admiration of many across political, traditional and social circles.
The Senator noted that throughout his years in public service and community leadership, Miskoom Alkali demonstrated wisdom, humility and dedication to peace, unity and progress, virtues that continue to inspire younger generations of leaders.
