Cleric envisages better days for Nigeria

Lead Pastor Global Family Circle Chapel, Pastor Loveth Ashibuogwu
has said Nigeria would become a great nation again in spite of the challenges confronting it.
She said this In Abuja during the Church’s 2022 Carol of Nine lessons with theme “Goodness and Mercy “.
According to her, Nigeria will come out of its challenges and become a better and greater nation.
” The Word of God has the capacity to set free and deliver,” she aid.
Still talking about Nigeria, the cleric said it will be unwise for any Nigerian to lose hope now.
Ashibuogwu said: “We are at the threshold of our victory as a nation. I want to assure all Nigerians that the pain of today will give way to progress, and the suffering will give way to smiles and the lack will give way to plenty.”
She declared that Nigeria would overcome all its challenges and become a great again.
The Lead Pastor also urged all politicians to play by the rules, adding that the expected progress will not come, ”if we are divided and acrimonious.
“Politicians have a role to play in making Nigeria great again.
“We have to go out to vote for candidates of our choice. But, then I will advise that we look at the candidates dispassionately and vote according to our conscience.
” We must not allow personal gains to cloud our sense of judgement.”
Speaking about the Yuletide, the cleric said it was a season of giving, caring and showing love.
She urged Nigerians to be their neighbours’ keeper.
“Share the little you have with the vulnerable, widows and less privileged,” Ashibuogwu urged.
She added that the carol portrayed unity, peace, love and a turn around for the nation, as to praise means to pray twice.
Rev. Ogheneovo Godspower of Christ’s Chosen Church of God Lugbe said one of the significance of Christmas was to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus Christ.
He urged Christians to be steadfast and fervent in prayers as God will save, listen and answer prayers.
Miss Samuel Chioma, the Choir Mistress, Angelic Voices of the Church said songs relieve us of stress, bring hope and a means of prayers and healthy living.
She said, ”songs remind us of a better future and prepare us for a brighter future.”
The carol of nine lessons had lessons from the Holy Bible centres on the creation of man, the fall of man and the birth of Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the world, with songs ministrations by various interdenominational groups
