NLC commended Badaru for signing the new minimum wage

The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC has commended the Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for signing the new minimum wage into law.
The Jigawa State NLC Chairman Comrade Sanusi Alhassan made the commendation during the minimum wage signing ceremony in Dutse today
He urged the Jigawa State workers to reciprocate what had been giving to them through Hard work,honesty and patriotism
The Governor signed the new wage at the Government House in Dutse after receiving the final report of the new minimum wage committee .
He directed for immediate implementation of the new minimum wage before the end of year 2019
The Chairman joint negotiation committee, Hassan Auwalu said workers on grade level 1-7 will enjoy the full 30,000 minimum wage and others from grade level 7- upward will benefit based on consequential adjustment.
