Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the November 16th Kogi governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
Bello who is the incumbent Governor of the state won 12 local government councils while his closest rival, Engr. Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clinched nine.
