The Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, says his decision to empower women, youth, support organizations and people with special needs was inspired by the benevolence of the State Chief Executive to the people irrespective of political and religious affiliations
Presenting the crash donations to the beneficiaries in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, he said following the directives of Governor Idris to all political office holders to extend hands of assistance to the people hence the programme to fulfill his obligation
Sarki charged the beneficiaries to disregard political detractors who would fly unfounded character assassination opinions during campaigns against the Federal and State Governments, stressing that they were agents of societal and human destruction devoid of morality
He said as the son of the area, Nasarawa ii by Gawo, he had relocated his voting unit from Aliero quarters to the area to join his kith and kin to partake in the electioneering year and the subsequent voting exercises come 2027 to return President Tinubu and Governor. Idris to consolidate on democratic dividends.
Also speaking, Commissioner for Information and Culture, Ahmed Yakubu, described the foresight of the media aide as not only commendable but a testimony that he was a dependable ally with the welfarism and benevolence of Governor Idris.
He said returning Governor Idris into office would be the best thing for the people of the State because of the achievements recorded by the Governor in the areas of Agriculture, Education, Security as well as Infrastructure, especially the notorious Dabai-Mahuta-Koko Road, which had now reached over 90% completion level.

“Comrade Idris, together with his wife, Nafisa Nasir Idris, have continued to exhibit kindness, benevolence and compassion to the people of Kebbi by implementing various empowerment schemes to raise the standard of living of the inhabitants.
“We have imbibed such magnanimity and will uphold it to satisfying the yearnings and aspirations of our people”, the Commiisioner said.
Muss Babu, one of the beneficiaries said: “Yahaya is our son and brother who has been helping us during Sallah and Ramadan. He helped us during hard times. He is also helping us generously today. We know it’s because of his position with Kauran Gwandu. May God bless Kaura and Yahaya.”
