The NCDC Managing Director stated that he was not surprised by the honour, stressing that Gen. Temlong’s record of service, integrity, and sacrifice clearly qualifies him for national recognition.
He added that the conferment reflects President Tinubu’s resolve to honour Nigerians who have made meaningful contributions to the growth and stability of the country.
Dr. Tsenyil commended President Tinubu for his focus on celebrating excellence, patriotism, and service, describing the gesture as a strong signal that commitment to a better Nigeria will always be acknowledged.
He congratulated Gen. Jon Temlong (Rtd) on the prestigious national honour and wished him continued good health and strength to keep contributing to national development and the advancement of peace and good governance in Nigeria.
