Sir Joseph Ari
The Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Caleb Mutfwang, has appointed the former Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Sir Joseph Ari, as the Director-General of the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Governorship Campaign Council.
Governor Mutfwang announced the appointment while receiving the Metropolitan Grand Knight and members of the Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, Jos Metropolitan Council, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Twin Theatre, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos.
The Governor said the choice of Sir Joseph Ari followed extensive consultations and the consensus reached among critical stakeholders of the APC in Plateau State, reflecting confidence in his leadership capacity, political maturity, organisational competence and ability to galvanise support across diverse constituencies.
Sir Ari is a prominent APC chieftain, seasoned technocrat, accomplished administrator and distinguished public servant, whose career has been marked by strategic leadership, institutional reforms and a commitment to human capital development.
As Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund, Sir Ari provided visionary leadership that strengthened the institution and enhanced its capacity to equip Nigerians with relevant technical and vocational skills for employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
His appointment brings to the Mutfwang/Piyo 2027 Campaign Organisation a combination of administrative experience, political understanding, grassroots reach and stakeholder-management capacity considered vital to building a broad-based campaign structure capable of effectively engaging the people of Plateau State.
As Director-General, Sir Ari will lead the strategic coordination and mobilisation efforts of the campaign across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State, with emphasis on unity, effective grassroots engagement and the consolidation of the administration’s development agenda.
The appointment further underscores the determination of the Governor and the APC leadership in Plateau State to run a coordinated, inclusive and issue-driven campaign anchored on the achievements of the administration, the aspirations of the people and a shared vision for the future of Plateau State.
