Niger Guber Candidate Lauds Election Conduct

The Niger State All Progressives Congress ( APC) gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the 2023 presidential and National Assembly general elections held today.

Bago was chatting with Newsmen after casting his votes at his Tsoshagi Raba unit in the Landzun ward of Bida Local Government Area of the state.

Bago who was accompanied by his wife and some family members, cast his votes at exactly 10.01 am, and commended INEC for the improvement in the electoral process, urging those facing technical issues with their BVAS to exercise patience, as
he believed these challenges would be addressed by INEC.

The APC gubernatorial candidate also lauded the massive voter turnout, expressing delight over the orderly manner in which the electorate conducted themselves and their high level of patience and perseverance in the exercise of their civic right.

Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, it was observed that the elections were generally peaceful, the turnout was very impressive, and vehicular movement was restricted with few security men on the roads to enforce compliance in the ancient city of Bida in Bida Local Government Area.
