APC National Chairman, Senator Adamu Loses Polling Unit To SDP

The National Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress(APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu has reportedly lost his polling unit, GRA License Office 010 to the Social Democratic Party(SDP) in today’s senatorial election of Nasarawa West District.

SDP who fielded former two-term House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada won the polling unit with 184 votes while APC with Architect Shehu Ahmad Tukur who came second polled only 55 votes. The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) polled 22 votes.

Similarly, opposition SDP with Rep. Gbefwi Jonathan Gaza as candidate who defeated the governing party in the House of Representatives race in Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s polling unit with 136 votes against 41 votes polled by the All Progressives Congress(APC).

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) polled a total of thirty-six votes to come third.
