His Royal Majesty, Prof James Ayaste CFR Tor Tiv the fifth has commended the leadership and members of Ior Gboko Foundation for their community development strides and spirit of togetherness.
He made the remark during a courtesy call paid on him by a delegation of IOR GBOKO FOUNDATION IGF led by their President, Mr Jimmy Ajim and Secretary, Martin Terna Gyado at his Palace in Gboko as part of their Annual convention.
During the courtesy call, the paramount ruler of the Tiv Nation Worldwide was briefed on the activities of the foundation for the year 2022 which include the facilitation of the supply and installation of 2 500kva transformers in GRA and Shaahu road Gboko.
IGF President, Mr Jimmy Ajim, further pledged that the foundation will do more projects in 2023 that would have direct impact on the people like the resuscitation, furnishing and equipment of a moribund multi trade Skills Acquisition Center donated to the foundation by Senator George Akume.
Prior to the courtesy call , the foundation members visited the NKST Mkar Orphanage home to donate various food items and share the yuletide season with the children and also visited the Ter Gboko II, His Highness Chief Gabriel Shosum.
IOR GBOKO FOUNDATION is a non-profit and non-political organization duly registered with the statutory bodies and has a vision and mission of complementing government efforts to bring development to Gboko, the traditional headquarters of the Tiv people and its environs.
