The Nigerian Medical Association of Nigeria (NMA) as part of its mandate in touching lives and uplifting the vulnerable has donated food ,clothing and other personal hygiene services to victims of flood in Benue.
Benue NMA Chairman, Dr Usha Anenga led the SOC and members of the Welfare committee to make donations to the flood victims residing along Airport road Makurdi.
The items were received at the premises of NKST Church, Tule, coordinated by the resident pastor who also oversees the affairs of the flood victims.
Items donated included
rice in portions of 5kg bags, male, female and children clothing, bedspreads and shoes.
According to Igbah Terhile, NMA’s
Welfare Director ,the Chairman appreciated all who contributed and supported the team
In his response, the Pastor, Rev Nathaniel Nyafa thanked NMA for the gesture.
Rev Nyafa prayed God to bless them more increasing their resources.
