Clerics urge Nigerians to embrace holiness

Some Clerics in the Federal Capital Territory, have called on Nigerians to embrace sanctity in their daily activities to overcome the challenges facing the country.
They made the call at the 2022 Abuja Interdenominational Holiness Power Ministers Conference, organised by Holiness Power Bible Ministries on Friday in Abuja.
The theme of the five-day conference is “ God’s Universal call of holiness and righteousness to all the ministries and leaders ’’.
The host, Pastor Chidi Maduako and the Facilitator, Pastor Ifiok Okonjob said that the Conference was aimed at drawing people closer to God by shunning Corruption and other social Vices.
Maduako said that men of God have deviated from the original gospel of truth and holiness to preach prosperity and riches’.
He said that the true gospel emphasised on holiness, righteousness, love for ones neighbour and having a forgiving spirit.
Also speaking, Pastor Okonjob said that peace and unity begins from the home and to the outer world.
He said the country must return to radical evangelism, prayers and fasting with praise to get things right.
Rev. Isaac Oriakhi, former vice president, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), urged all and Sundry to seek God through righteousness.
He said that many problems facing the country are Man-made, adding that with fervent prayers they could be eliminated.
The National Youth Leader of the Holiness Power Bible Ministries, Mr Nelson Vincent called on the youth to desist from political thuggery and follow the line of righteousness.
