The Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA) says the Unguwan Mu’azu Township Roads have continued to ease transportation and improve accessibility for residents.
Dr Abdullahi Baba Ahmed, Managing Director of KADRA, stated this in an interview shortly after the road inspection while highlighting the impact of the roads, commissioned by Gov. Uba Sani on Dec. 23, 2024.

Baba Ahmed said the project was executed as part of the state government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and addressing the needs of communities across Kaduna State.
He said the roads had continued to facilitate movement, enhance accessibility and support residents’ daily activities since their commissioning.
According to him, the project underscores the state government’s commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure and improving the quality of life of residents.

NAN recalls that Baba Ahmed also said the 12.5-kilometre Giwa-Yakawada Road, being constructed by the state government, had eased transportation and improved security in the area.
Residents and community leaders in Giwa Local Government Area had described the project as a major relief after years of hardship caused by the road’s deplorable condition.
Baba Ahmed explained that the project was initially approved for double coat asphalt, but Gov. Uba Sani later directed the contractor to asphalt the entire stretch from Giwa to Yakawada.
