A former Special Adviser to Bauchi State Governor on Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Hassana Arkila, has distributed bags of fertilizer to vulnerable people for the 2026 farming season.
The distribution was done at her residence as part of efforts to support farmers and enhance agricultural productivity in Bauchi State.
Speaking during the distribution, Hassana Arkila who recently resigned her appointment, expressed profound appreciation to the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, for his “exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and continued support for the good people of Bauchi State.”
She thanked the Minister for finding her worthy of the responsibility to coordinate and distribute the fertilizer to deserving beneficiaries, describing the gesture as a demonstration of his dedication to improving the livelihoods of citizens and strengthening food security.
Hassana Arkila urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the fertilizer during the farming season and prayed for abundant harvests.
She also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the welfare and economic empowerment of the people of Bauchi State.
The Woman Politician who enjoys grassroots followership added that even out of government, She will continue to assist and support youths, women and other vulnerable people in the State.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke commended the kind gesture extended to them saying that it will go a long way in boosting their farming efforts.
Amina Musa, one of women who benefited said that She was surprised when called as one of the beneficiaries saying that it came at the right time when she actually needed it.
Another beneficiary, Sallau Magaji expressed happiness being one of those selected to receive the commodity saying it will go a long in complementing his efforts to have a bumper harvest.
