The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, on behalf of the Governing Board, Management and Staff of the Commission, heartily congratulates His Royal Highness, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku Mari (Rtd.), on his installation as the Aren Eggon and Paramount Traditional Ruler of the Eggon Nation.

Dr. Tsenyil describes the installation and presentation of the Staff of Office by the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, as a well-deserved honour for a distinguished jurist, statesman and community leader whose life has been devoted to the service of humanity and the advancement of justice.

The Managing Director notes that the emergence of the former Chief Judge of Nasarawa State as the Aren Eggon comes at a critical period when traditional institutions are expected to play greater roles in promoting peace, unity, security and development within their domains and beyond.

While rejoicing with the royal father and praying for a successful, peaceful and impactful reign, Dr. Tsenyil assures him of the determination of the North Central Development Commission to strengthen partnership and collaboration with traditional institutions across the region.

He says the Commission remains committed to supporting initiatives that will enhance the capacity of traditional rulers to facilitate development and address challenges that hinder the socio-economic progress of their communities.

The NCDC Chief Executive expresses confidence that the vast experience, wisdom and integrity acquired by His Royal Highness during his illustrious career in the judiciary will be brought to bear in promoting unity, peace, justice, equity and fairness among his people and throughout the North Central region.

Dr. Tsenyil prays for God’s guidance, good health, wisdom and strength upon the Aren Eggon as he undertakes the noble responsibility of leading the Eggon Nation and contributing to national cohesion and development.
