The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, graced the Wedding Fatiha of Ibrahim Ibrahim Danfuloti and Zainab Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar (Mairago), Chairman of NIMASA, held today after Jumuat prayer, at the iconic Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna.
The Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Mosque, Professor Suleiman Muhammad, officiated the marriage according to Islamic rites.
Governor Radda served as the Wakili (representative) of the groom, while Governor Uba Sani served as the Waliyyi (guardian) of the bride, Zainab Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar.
The marriage was concluded with a dowry of ₦500,000, followed by special prayers seeking divine guidance, protection, and prosperity for the newly wedded couple.
Special prayers were offered, led by the Chief Imam of the Mosque, seeking Allah’s blessings for the couple and praying for a peaceful, prosperous, and successful married life.
The ceremony attracted a distinguished gathering of eminent personalities, including Col. Dangiwa Umar (rtd), former Governor of Kaduna State; the Minister of Environment, Alhaji Balarabe Abbas Lawal; and the National Coordinator of AUDA-NEPAD, Jabiru Tsauri, among others.
Also present was the renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmed Abubakar Gumi, alongside other top government officials, traditional leaders, family members, and well-wishers.
