Bauchi APM youths warned not to engage in acts of thuggery during campaigns

Youth members of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), in Bauchi State have been warned not to engage in act of political thuggery especially when statewide electioneeting campaigns begin.

The warning was given by the State Chairman of the APM, Hon. Auwal Isa Mai takalmin Roba, when Members of the Christian Youths Mobilization Front (CYMF), in Bauchi State, organized a grand endorsement, solidarity and support rally for
all candidates of Allied People’s Movement {APM), for the 2027 general elections.

The APM Chairman stressed that, “We are not engaged in fight with anyone, we are not disturbing anyone, our fight will be on the election day, we will guide and protect our votes, we will not allow any form of electoral malpractice.”

According to him, “We have credible candidates who will win elections anytime, we don’t need to fight to win the elections. If you cross check, you will see that our candidates are the best among equals.”

He said, “They are referring to us as a very small, unknown political party, no problem, they will understand at the end of the 2027 general elections, that APM is not a small political party.”

Auwal Isa Maitakalmin Roba stressed that, “Our youths are good citizens, loyal party members who will not do anything to jeopardize the chances of our candidates.”

He then commended the Christian Youths Mobilization Front, for organizing the event which he observed, is a demonstration of party support and commitment.

Also speaking, gubernatorial candidate of the APM, Yakubu Adamu, commended the APM leadership for finding him worthy of the ticket, assuring that he will not let the party down during the elections.

Yakubu Adamu assured that their campaign will be issues based as they will not attack nor castigate anyone no matter level of provocation stressing that the APM will simply showcase the tremendous achievements recorded by the present administration.

Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA), on Christian Affairs to the Governor, Pastor Zakka Luka Magaji, assured that the APM will spring surprise during the 2027 general elections as all its candidates will win their various elections.

The Governor’s Aide stressed that the Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, did not make mistakes joining the APM when the PDP platform was no longer credible due to internal leadership crisis.

Speaking on behalf of the Governor, the SSA, expressed the delight of the Governor for what the Christian Youths Mobilization Front has done saying it was first of its kind in Bauchi State.

All other speakers including the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jamilu Dahiru Barade, members of the State Assembly representating Bogoro and Dass, all commended the organizers for the event.

Speaking variously, they hailed the Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for taking the urgent step of joining the APM and leading his teeming supporters into the party in small time.
