An African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has unveiled plans for national job creation programme and economic renewal.
Hayatu-Deen disclosed the plan during a town hall organised by Team Rebuild Nigeria in Abuja on Friday, where he pledged to prioritise employment and economic recovery.
He said jobs must become the centrepiece of Nigeria’s national policy, stressing that economic revival depends on sustainable employment opportunities and productive national engagement.
The renowned economist said worsening economic conditions and insecurity required experienced leadership focused on restoring productivity, rebuilding confidence and creating opportunities for millions of Nigerians.
“Jobs change lives. Jobs reduce poverty. Jobs put food on the tables of Nigerian families. Jobs give young people hope and dignity.
“Countries that create jobs in a large scale build stronger economies and more stable societies. Countries failing to create opportunities become trapped in insecurity and social unrest,” he said. (NAN)
