Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has approved the appointment of Hon. Danladi Tijos Baido as the Director General of his 2027 Re-Election Campaign Council.
According to a press release issued by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement noted that Baido’s emergence reflects his proven leadership capacity, political experience, and strong commitment to the progress and stability of Taraba State. It added that his track record in public service and grassroots mobilization positions him to effectively lead the campaign toward a successful re-election bid.
As Director General, Baido will provide strategic direction for the campaign, coordinate activities across all local government areas, mobilize stakeholders and supporters, and ensure effective communication of the administration’s achievements and future agenda.
He is also expected to supervise campaign structures and ensure alignment with the overall vision of the campaign.
Governor Kefas expressed confidence that Baido would deploy his wealth of experience to deliver a robust, inclusive, and issue-based campaign that reflects the aspirations of the people.
The government called on party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters to give the new DG the necessary cooperation to ensure the success of the campaign.
