Forum Urges Continuity for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

The Forum of PBAT CEOs has called for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, saying continuity is necessary to consolidate the gains of his administration’s reforms.
The Convener of the Forum and Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation, Dr Kazeem Kolawole Raji, made the call at the maiden meeting of the Forum in Abuja.
Speaking on the theme, “Strengthening Collective Leadership, Mobilisation and Support for the Re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Dr. Raji described Tinubu as a courageous reformer who had confronted difficult structural challenges facing Nigeria.
He cited the removal of fuel subsidy, foreign exchange reforms, fiscal and tax reforms, power-sector reforms, infrastructure development and efforts to attract investment as key measures undertaken by the administration.
“One good term deserves another. Nigeria has embarked on a difficult reform journey. The gains of reform require time, consistency and continuity to mature fully,” Dr. Raji said.
The Forum convener urged chief executives of government agencies to take ownership of the administration’s achievements by delivering results, documenting their impact and communicating them effectively to Nigerians.
He said government agencies must show citizens how their programmes have created jobs, supported entrepreneurs, attracted investment, improved infrastructure and expanded opportunities for young people, women and other groups.
Dr. Raji said the Forum was established to promote unity, inter-agency collaboration, experience-sharing and coordinated support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, while eliminating duplication and working in silos.
He also called on members to mobilise support through professional and grassroots networks ahead of the 2027 election, stressing that such engagement must remain lawful, peaceful, ethical and issue-based.
“Our responsibility is not to compel anyone. It is to inform, engage, persuade through performance and present the facts about the progress being made,” he said.
Dr. Raji urged members to promote the administration’s achievements through facts rather than propaganda, while maintaining professionalism and integrity as public servants.
He said the success of the Forum would depend on its ability to strengthen the relationship between government and citizens and translate collective institutional efforts into measurable national impact.
The Forum of PBAT CEOs comprises heads of Federal Government Agencies appointed under the Tinubu administration.
