Correctional service chief laud Pankshin LGA chairman over support to facility

Mr Ninram Fadul, Controller, Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), Plateau command, lauded Hon. Felix Gonung, Executive Chairman, Pankshin Local Government Area (LGA) over his continued support to the facility and management.
Fadul thanked the chairman during a courtesy visit at his office in Pankshin.
Mr Chuwang Sha, Deputy Director, Information Office of the Executive Chairman, Pankshin LGA, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Mr Sha quoted the Controller as saying, “The purpose of our visit is to foster relationship and unity between NCS and the local government council, and to strengthened collaboration for effective running of the facility.
“We also want to commend you for all the support towards the inmates and the management of Pankshin correctional service facility.”
Sha stated that, the executive chairman Mr Felix Gonung assured the Correctional service of the council’s continued support and collaboration.
“In no distant time, we shall power the facility with solar energy for better security, and for the benefit of both inmates and management” Gonung said.
He said, the chairman made a passionate appeal to the authority to decongest the facility in order to prevent diseases outbreak, to safeguard the health and welfare of inmates.
According to Sha, the team presented an award of recognition to the executive chairman in appreciation of his commitment and support to the Correctional service in the LGA.(NAN)
