Engr. Babangida Kabir Ruma, Director General of Katsina Enterprises Development Agency (KASEDA), has announced that 100 additional businesses have been approved for interest-free loans under the 2026 KASEDA/Bank of Industry (BOI) programme.
The Director General, in a statement said this is the second batch of beneficiaries approved this year, adding that the offer letters are ready for signing as part of the disbursement process.
“The announcement comes as KASEDA marks the 2026 MSMEs Day. The agency is using the occasion to expand access to finance for small and medium businesses across Katsina State,” Engr. Ruma said.
He said some beneficiaries on the list have already received their loan disbursements, according.
“Businesses whose names appear on the published list have been advised to visit the Bank of Industry office immediately. There, they will sign their offer letters to receive their interest-free loans,” KASEDA Boss explained.
Engr. Ruma stated that KASEDA remains committed to working with Bank of Industry to support eligible businesses to grow, create jobs, and strengthen Katsina’s economy.
He particularly stated that the programme operates under the leadership of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, who has made MSME support a priority of his administration.
Since launching the programme, KASEDA has approved hundreds of businesses for loans. The second batch of 100 approved businesses brings the total significantly higher.
