Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, has congratulated Nde Ezekiel Gomos on the occasion of his 70th birthday, describing him as an accomplished administrator, development strategist, and statesman whose contributions to Plateau State and Northern Nigeria remain invaluable.
In a goodwill message, Senator Lalong said the milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate a life dedicated to public service, integrity, and the pursuit of good governance. He recalled the distinguished service of Nde Gomos as Secretary to the Government of Plateau State during the administration of Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye, where he played a pivotal role in the coordination of government policies and programmes.
The Senator also acknowledged the immense support and expertise Nde Gomos brought to his administration when he served as Chairman of the Economic Advisory Team, providing critical guidance that contributed to the formulation and implementation of policies aimed at improving the economic fortunes of Plateau State.
According to Senator Lalong, Nde Gomos has continued to distinguish himself through his commitment to regional development and nation-building, a quality that has earned him recognition and responsibility as the Director General of the Northern Governors Forum. He noted that his wealth of experience, sound judgment, and dedication to service continue to benefit leaders and institutions across Northern Nigeria.
Senator Lalong commended the celebrant for his humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of society, describing him as a mentor and role model to many younger generations of public servants and development practitioners.
Lalong also commended Nde Gomos for using his Jos Business School as a platform for mentoring and raising entrepreneurs and businessmen who have gone ahead to make serious accomplishments in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
