Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong has congratulated former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi on the occasion of his birthday.
Senator Lalong described Amaechi as a long-time friend, and committed patriot with whom he shared years of productive engagement in public service and party politics.
He recalled their days as Speakers of their respective State Houses of Assembly where they worked closely as leaders within the Conference of Nigerian Speakers to advance democratic governance and legislative development in the country.
Lalong also noted that they later became founding members of the APC and contributed significantly towards the growth and success of the party at various levels.
The Senator commended Amaechi for his courage, dedication and contributions to national development over the years, particularly through the various leadership positions he has occupied.
He prayed that God will continue to bless him with good health, wisdom, strength, prosperity and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity.
Senator Lalong wished him a happy and fulfilling birthday celebration.
