The Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Dr Labaran Magaji has tasked ward coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to use their positions to mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and Sen. Ahmed Wadada in the 2027 polls.
Magaji, who is also the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, gave the charge in Lafia during a meeting with the ward coordinators in his Office.
He urged the ward coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to see the role given to them as an opportunity to make a positive impact for the party and the people of their communities.
He called on the coordinators to adopt an inclusive approach that carries party faithful along while raising awareness of the benefits of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies and programmes at the grassroots level.
According to him, this will help mobilise support for the President’s second-term bid and for Nasarawa State governorship candidate Ahmed Wadada as well as other APC candidates.
According to Magaji, their selection as ward coordinators is “the will of God and a trust bestowed on them,” as well as recognition of their hard work and loyalty to the party.
He, therefore, urged them to remain committed and focused on delivering their mandates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Magaji also advised the coordinators to work collaboratively to address challenges that could undermine the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level.
Margaret Elayo, Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources and Keana LGA Coordinator, applauded the SSG and his team for working assiduously to ensure the Renewed Hope Agenda meets its target of delivering victory for President Tinubu and all APC candidates.
