In a statement released on Monday, APGA National Publicity Secretary, Ejimofor Opara, announced the officially verified results of the primary election conducted across the 99 wards in the senatorial district.

According to the party, Oduah secured:

1,140 votes in Onitsha North

10,119 votes in Ogbaru
Other aspirants in the contest included Dr. Alex, Primus, and Sir John.

APGA stated that the primary election was conducted peacefully across the seven local government areas in the district, with results announced at the ward level.

The party also addressed concerns raised over some ward results, insisting that no figures were altered or manipulated during the collation process.

“While concerns have been raised about some ward outcomes, no results were changed, altered, or swapped at any stage. All results remain as submitted and collated by the duly appointed Collation Officers for the seven LGAs,” the statement read.

APGA further advised aggrieved aspirants to make use of the party’s internal dispute resolution mechanisms as outlined in its guidelines.

The party congratulated Stella Oduah on her victory and commended members for maintaining order and discipline throughout the exercise.
