Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Bako Lalong has felicitated with His Royal Highness, the Long Tehl, HRH Barr. Donald D. Puntel, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Senator Lalong describes the revered traditional ruler as a distinguished royal father, peace builder and community leader who has continued to provide purposeful leadership to his people with wisdom, humility and a deep commitment to unity and development.
The Senator recalls with appreciation the cordial working relationship he has enjoyed with the Long Tehl over the years, noting that the royal father has remained a dependable supporter of his political journey and a valuable partner in the pursuit of peace, harmony and sustainable development within the constituency and Plateau State at large.
According to Senator Lalong, the contributions of traditional institutions remain critical to nation building, particularly in promoting dialogue, reconciliation, security and grassroots development.
He commended HRH Barr. Donald Puntel for his unwavering dedication to the wellbeing of his subjects and his support for initiatives that foster progress and peaceful coexistence.
