
PROFESSOR AUDI STRENGTHENS NSCDC’S GRIP ON NATIONAL SECURITY

Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has been driving a new wave of security synergy across the nation. During a visit to Osogbo, Professor Audi met with His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, represented by Deputy Governor Prince Kola Adewusi, emphasizing the need for strengthened partnerships to tackle emerging security threats, safeguard critical assets, and enhance community safety. The engagement received royal endorsement from Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, who praised the NSCDC’s growing professionalism and tactical efficiency.
Professor Audi reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to its mandate, appreciating the Osun State Government’s support and stressing the importance of united security architecture for peace and socio-economic development. He highlighted the value of collaboration with royal institutions, noting that grassroots intelligence is key to effective national security. Assuring continued strengthened operations, enhanced personnel capacity, and improved intervention capabilities, Professor Audi emphasized the NSCDC’s mission of loyalty to the nation, love for citizens, and relentless pursuit of safety.
