Akoko Bye Election: Youths mobilise support for APC Reps Candidate, Ehindero

Youths under the platform of Akoko North West local government youths have began mobilization of support for the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the fast approaching house of representatives bye election in Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal constituency, Ife Ehindero calling on residents to vote for him in the forthcoming elections.

The youth, during a sensitization rally, which lasted for three days urged eligible voters to vote for the APC candidate for effective representation and good governance at National Assembly.

The sensitization rally which started in Ogbagi Akoko on Tuesday was convened by the President of the youth group, Comrade Mayowa.

The youths were well received by residents of the local government area while they receive the message being preached by them (the youths). The rally was sponsored by Akerele Olubunmi Joseph and campaign materials were also presented to Ehindero by the youths.

According to the President, the sensitization was to ensure residents of the local government area are abreast with the importance of coming out to vote for Ehindero. He urged them to give Ehindero the chance to continue the good work started by the former occupier of the office who is now the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

Mayowa said, “We are embarking on this sensitization walk and rally to let people know that our youths are not just on social media, our youths are on ground; we are voters and we have PVCs. We are committed to the development of our local government and committed to the empowerment of its people. We are in support of Ife Ehindero.”

The bye election is billed to hold on Saturday, February 3rd.
