Comptroller Sule assumes duty at customs FOU Zone B

Comptroller Aminu Sule has assumed duty as the new Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone B, Kaduna.
Sule takes over from Comptroller Alkali, who has been redeployed to the Onne Command.
The new Controller brings with him years of experience and a distinguished service record in the Nigeria Customs Service.
Speaking during the handover ceremony held at the unit’s headquarters, Sule pledged to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor and intensify the fight against smuggling and other economic crimes.
He stated that the unit would adopt intelligence driven operations and strengthen coordination through digital tools.
“FOU Zone B will be relentless against smuggling, uncompromising in its duty, and unwavering in its loyalty to the mission of the Comptroller-General,” he said.
He also stressed the importance of collaboration with sister security agencies, border communities, and compliant stakeholders in achieving the unit’s mandate.
“Our goal is clear , to support the CGC in delivering a monumental legacy of a reformed, modernized, and globally respected Nigeria Customs Service,” he added.
Sule warned smugglers and economic saboteurs to steer clear, noting that the unit remains fortified and committed to safeguarding Nigeria’s economy and securing its borders.
He called on officers and men of the unit to remain united, courageous, and determined in the discharge of their duties.
The event was attended by senior officers and staff of the command, marking a seamless transition of leadership within the unit.
