APC’s Joshua Musa Emerges as Bwari Area Council Chairmanship Candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa as its candidate for the Bwari Area Council Chairmanship following a primary election conducted by the party. Top APC officials led the process, with Dr. Austin Agada playing a key role in the election’s organization.
Hon. Musa received his certificate of return from the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, formalizing his nomination as the party’s candidate. In a statement to newsmen, Hon. Musa attributed his emergence to the people’s acceptance and his genuine desire to serve. He reiterated his commitment to excellence and to standing firm on the mandate given to him by the people.
Aluta News reported an earlier controversy As Haruna Audi Shekwolo, one of the aspirants, had initially approached the court to nullify the primary election that produced Joshua Ishaku Musa as the party’s candidate. However, in a surprising turn of events, Shekwolo discontinued the petition and was presented with a certificate of return, only to be followed by Joshua Ishaku Musa being handed a certificate of return as the APC flagbearer for the Bwari Area Council 2026.
The newly nominated candidate expressed his determination to work tirelessly for the people of Bwari, promising to deliver on his promises and meet the expectations of his constituents.
