The Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Godwin Ayodele Olawande, has expressed his support for T-Jos’ Guinness World Record attempt for the longest premium haircut marathon. Olawande, accompanied by prominent youth leaders, visited the Velodrome at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, to show solidarity with T-Jos.

During his visit, Olawande was impressed by T-Jos’ physical fitness and expressed no doubt that with God’s guidance, the record-setting is achievable. “With the renewed hope brought by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, every Nigerian youth will be given the desired support to succeed in their endeavors,” Olawande said.

In a lighthearted moment, Olawande engaged Sunday Asefon, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement, in a friendly table tennis and snooker match. The highly anticipated match was held to admiration and applause of the audience, who were wowed by the Minister’s impressive athletic prowess.

The Minister’s skill and experience paid off, as he emerged victorious in both the table tennis and snooker matches. The audience was thoroughly entertained by the match, with many cheering and applauding the players’ impressive shots.

Asefon has pledged to mobilize Abuja students through the office of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to ensure support for T-Jos’ record-breaking attempt. This move is expected to galvanize youth support for T-Jos and create a sense of community around the event.

The visit by the Minister and youth leaders is a show of unity and support for T-Jos as he embarks on this incredible journey. With the backing of prominent figures like Hon. Olawande and Sunday Asefon, T-Jos is likely to feel more motivated and focused on achieving his goal.

As T-Jos continues his record-breaking attempt, the atmosphere remains electric, with the support of the Minister, youth leaders, and the audience serving as a significant morale boost.
