Customs Zone B Strengthens Security Bonds with Tug of War Showdown in Kaduna

In a bid to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Zone B Headquarters took part in a symbolic Tug of War competition at the Air Training Command, Nigerian Air Force, Kaduna.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Superintendent of Customs Dikko Magaji, the Zonal Public Relations Officer.
The event, which formed part of the closing ceremony of the 2025 Headquarters’ Air Training Command Intra-Command Sports Competition, was held on Friday, May 30, 2025.
The Zonal Coordinator of NCS Zone B, Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Adekunle Oloyede, was invited as a special guest at the ceremony which brought together various security and paramilitary agencies.
The NCS Zone B Headquarters team, led by Assistant Comptroller Muhammad Aliyu, competed in the solidarity Tug of War event alongside teams from the Nigeria Police Force, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Department of State Services (DSS).
He said ,the Tug of War contest served as a symbolic demonstration of unity and teamwork among the nation’s security stakeholders and was sandwiched between other athletic and sporting events.

congratulated all winners and encouraged those who did not win to work harder stating that “tomorrow is another day.”
He expressed gratitude to all participating paramilitary agencies for their presence, which he said added colour and excitement to the event.
He also offered prayers for all guests to return safely to their various destinations.(NAN)
