NANS ABU Zaria Chapter Disowns Fake President, Flags Atiku Isa’s Activities as Illegitimate

The stakeholders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria have issued a strong disclaimer distancing themselves from one Comrade Atiku Isa, who has been falsely claiming to be the president of NANS.
In a statement signed by Comrade Abdulhafis Anifowoshe, Chairman ABU NANS stakeholders, the stakeholders clarified that Atiku Isa lacks the mandate or recognition to involve or attach the institution to his factional activities. They affirmed their support for the legitimate leadership of NANS, led by Comrade Ladoja Olushola.
The stakeholders have urged students, stakeholders, and the general public to disregard any claims or actions made by Atiku Isa, purporting to represent NANS. The disclaimer has been copied to relevant authorities, including the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, Nigeria Bar Association, Federal Ministry of Education, and Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
This development raises questions about Atiku Isa’s motives and the potential consequences of his actions. As the matter stands, the legitimate leadership of NANS, under Comrade Ladoja Olushola, remains the recognized and supported leadership of the organization.
