commissioner hosts Youth Party Members to Iftar, champions Inclusion in governance

The Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajia Rabi Salisu, marked the 17th day of Ramadan by hosting Youth Party Members and other youth groups to Iftar.
The gathering, held in the spirit of the holy month, served as a platform for discussions on youth engagement in governance, economic empowerment, and fostering responsible citizenship.
Addressing the attendees, the commissioner reaffirmed the government’s commitment to integrating young people into decision-making processes.
She emphasized that youth are society’s greatest asset and must be actively involved in governance to curb violence, extremism, and other social vices.
Hajiya Rabi also assured them of continuous government support in enhancing their livelihoods, social inclusion, and access to justice.
Hajia Rabi also commended the youth for their unwavering support for Gov. Uba Sani’s administration, highlighting its dedication to promoting youth participation in governance and economic advancement.
She expressed optimism for stronger collaborations in the future to further drive youth focused initiatives.(NAN)
