HISTORIC MILESTONE: NSCDC COMMANDANT GENERAL DR. AHMED AUDI HANDS OVER KEYS TO 140 HOUSING UNITS TO PERSONNEL

Abuja, Nigeria – In a groundbreaking ceremony, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has handed over keys and award letters to 140 personnel, marking a significant milestone in the Corps’ efforts to address the housing deficit faced by its personnel.
The housing units, comprising 80 units at Grand Luvu Estate in Masaka, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa, 60 units in Deidei, Abuja, and 102 units in Kuje, Abuja, are a testament to the Corps’ commitment to providing affordable and comfortable housing for its personnel.
Dr. Audi, while presenting the keys and award letters, emphasized the importance of addressing the housing deficit, stating that it would encourage better working conditions and boost personnel morale. He urged the beneficiaries to maximize the opportunities of owning houses of their own by doubling their efforts in their service to the nation.
Assistant Commandant Isa Yusuf, President of the NSCDC National Headquarters Cooperative Society, praised Dr. Audi’s unwavering support, which enabled the cooperative to achieve this feat. He assured that the cooperative would continue to work tirelessly to provide more comfortable and affordable houses for its members.
The occasion was marked with goodwill messages from esteemed guests, including Mr. Atoika Taimako, Branch Manager, First Bank Airport Branch; Mr. Ngozi Anyagwu, Managing Director, AG Mortgage; and Engr. Lawrence Okenyi, Managing Director, Intergre Brand Ltd.
This landmark achievement is a clear demonstration of the NSCDC’s commitment to the welfare of its personnel, providing them with affordable and comfortable housing, and boosting their morale and productivity.
