BREAKING: Police Uncover New Details in Mysterious Death of Retired Comptroller General David Parradang

The Nigerian Police FCT Command has shed new light on the circumstances surrounding the death of retired Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Shikfu Parradang, contradicting initial reports of his kidnapping and murder.
According to the police, Parradang arrived at Joy House Hotel in Area 3 Junction on March 3, 2025, around 12:00 PM, driving a black Mercedes Benz. He checked into the hotel, paying ₦22,000 for a one-night stay. Shortly after, he received a female visitor, who was escorted to his room by the hotel attendant. The woman left the hotel premises around 4:00 PM the same day.
Parradang did not exit his room after the lady left. Concerned for his wellbeing, a friend who is a military officer traced him to the hotel around 4:00 AM on March 4, 2025. Upon arrival, the hotel receptionist and the officer proceeded to his room, where Parradang was found deceased, seated in a chair.
The police promptly secured the area, took photographs, and collected relevant evidence. The body has been transferred to the National Hospital for necessary procedures, and hotel staff are cooperating with police investigations.
Efforts are underway to apprehend the female visitor, who is currently a person of interest in the investigation. The police urge the public and media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information that may incite fear or panic.
