NEW CUSTOMS AREA CONTROLLER ASSUMES DUTY AT SEME AREA COMMAND

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Seme Area Command has welcomed a new Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Benedict Oramalugo, PhD. He officially assumed duty today, following the retirement of his predecessor.

Comptroller Oramalugo, a seasoned and accomplished officer, has promised to consolidate on the policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs. He brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to effective border management and trade facilitation.

A brief handing-over ceremony was held at the ECOWAS complex of the Seme-Krake Joint Border Post (JBP), attended by journalists and other stakeholders.

The new Customs Area Controller is expected to build on the achievements of his predecessors and take the command to greater heights.
