OKIGWE SENATORIAL DISTRICT ERUPTS IN JOY AS SENATOR NDUBUEZE UNVEILS MEGA EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

In a grand ceremony that will be etched in the memories of the people of Okigwe Senatorial District forever, Distinguished Senator Ndubueze Patrick C. launched a mega empowerment programme that has left the community beaming with joy and gratitude.

The event, which took place on December 31, 2024, at the Okigwe Township Stadium, was a testament to Senator Ndubueze’s unwavering commitment to empowering his constituents and improving their livelihoods. The programme was chaired by the esteemed Prof. Maurice Iwu, former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

During the programme, Senator Ndubueze distributed an impressive array of empowerment packages, including:

– Vehicles: Buses, Tricycles (Keke), and motorcycles
– Economic Empowerment Tools: Grinding machines, Sewing machines, and Industrial Frying Pans
– Electronics: Laptops, Generators, and Refrigerators

Aluta News reports that Governor Hope Uzodinma, who attended the event as the Special Guest of Honour, praised Senator Ndubueze’s performance, describing him as a “true son of the state.” The Governor expressed confidence that the people would re-elect Senator Ndubueze in the next election.

Prof. Maurice Iwu, in his remarks, lauded Senator Ndubueze’s efforts, describing him as a “passionate leader of the people and selfless ambassador of Okigwe.” He urged Senator Ndubueze to remain steadfast in ensuring that Okigwe receives its fair share of democratic dividends from the Federal Government.
