Breaking News: Arewa Youths Demand IGP Kayode Egbetokun’s Resignation Over 90-Day Detention of Minors

The Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership (AYAGL) has called for the immediate resignation of Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun due to the arrest and detention of minors for over 90 days. This demand was made by Rt. Hon. Abdul Hamid Danbature, Speaker Arewa Assembly, after visiting courts and hospitals to secure the release of the detained minors.
The group expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, Vice President, Minister of Defense Badaru, and the National Security Adviser for releasing protesters involved in the End Bad Governance demonstrations. However, they emphasized the need for Egbetokun’s resignation and the release of remaining detained youth protesters.
