
BUK Alumni FCT Chapter Sets Stage for 2024 Congress

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Alumni Association has announced its 2024 Congress, scheduled to hold on November 29-30, 2024, at the NUC Auditorium.
The highly anticipated event promises to be an unforgettable gathering of over 1,000 members, featuring keynote speaker Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu, former Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
According to Mohammed, the Congress offers a unique opportunity for members to share stories, exchange ideas, and strengthen bonds. “Let’s harness our collective experiences to innovate and explore ways to give back to BUK,” he said.
The event will also feature a novelty football match between Team New Site and Team Old Site, adding a fun layer to the gathering.
Mallam Aliyu Umar, Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee, emphasized that the 2024 Congress aims to reconnect members, rekindle old friendships, and forge new connections.
“This is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of our vibrant alumni community,” Umar said.
The Congress is expected to elevate the association and support members in new and impactful ways.
