Society of Family physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON), Osun State Chapter, has commended the state governor, Gov. Ademola Adeleke for appointing its state Chairman, Dr Afolabi Adeola Babatunde as Chief Medical Director ( CMD), Uniosun teaching hospital.Osogbo.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by its General secretary and State PRO, Dr Ogungbemi and Dr Oyetunji Niyi and made avail to newsmen on Friday.
SOFPON also congratulated Dr Afolabi over appointment, describing it as well deserved due to his experience and expertise.
The statement has urged that Dr Afolabi Babatunde would use his wealth of experience to build Uniosun teaching Hospital to a greater height and for the overall development of the country.
“The entire SOFPON family , Osun state Chapter, facilitate with our amiable State SOFPON Chairman , Dr Afolabi Adeola Babatunde on his appointment as the CMD, Uniosun teaching Hospital.
“Your Appointment is a testament of your sacrifice and dedication to service delivery.
“Your leadership sagacity in every capacity you occupied is worthy of emulation,” the statement said.
They however, prayed God to give him more strength, wisdom and protect to move the hospital to the next level of development.
“As you pilot the affair of Uniosun teaching Hospital, We pray that almighty God will grant you supersonic wisdom to push through,
“We celebrate you sir. Congratulations sir,” the statement added.
The statement expressed optimism that Dr Babatunde Afolabi would leave no stone unturned to ensure the development of the hospital.
