Kingibe stated this on Sunday at the ground breaking ceremony of a
hospital in Dobi community a district under Gwagwalada FCT.
She said that the hospital, when completed, would assist health care
delivery greatly within the community.
“I have just done the ground breaking of this hospital. This community has been in dire need of a hospital for a long time now.
“By the grace of God, in three months’ time, you will get the hospital,” she said.
Kingibe expressed the hope that the hospital would serve the community
and reduce their long journey to accessing healthcare.
According to her, Labour Party is delivering dividends of democracy to
citizens, hence the need for Nigerians to support it.
“We believe that a new Nigeria is possible, if we all join hands, both
the people and their leaders. We can create that new Nigeria,” the Senator said.
Dr Angulu Danlami, who spoke on behalf of the community, described Dobi as the largest community in the area, adding, however, that it lacked quality hospital.
“For the first time, we are experiencing this kind of project. It is a very good development and the community stands to benefit immensely from it.
“As you can see, Dobi community is one of the largest communities within this area, where other communities look forward to for treatment.
“Sometimes we have to travel as far as Gwagwalada, and some of the communities will have to travel as far as 20 to 25 kilometres to access treatment,” he said.
Danlami, however, said with the hospital coming to Dobi, the healthcare challenge of the people would be addressed.
