Nigeria Customs Service, Zone B Hails CGC Adeniyi for Promoting 2209 officers

The Nigeria Customs Service Zone B. Zonal Coordinator, Queen Ogbudu has commended the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Wale Adeniyi and his management team for promoting 2209 officers

Ogbudu made the commendation while decorating the newly promoted officers from the Zone B Headquarters on Tuesday in Kaduna.

Officers promoted from the zone include 4 Customs Comptrollers, 9 Deputy Comptroller of Customs, 20 Assistant Comptroller of Customs & other seniors officers.

Among the newly decorated officers were Customs Comptroller Idris Abba Aji, Comptroller Usen Mercy, Comptroller Mohammed Bukar and Comptroller MM Dodo

She urged the officers of the command to redouble efforts in discharging their duties to service and the nation

Ogbudu , said the promotion of the officers was a testament to the many years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the nation.

it took a lot of courage, discipline, and resilience to rise through the ranks, adding that they had all shown exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking and a deep understanding in the course of their careers.

“Your contributions to the Nigerian Customs are invaluable, and we are confident that you will continue to serve our nation with honour and distinction.

“As we celebrate your promotion, I urge you to continue leading by example and inspiring others to better your footstep

“I want to add that getting here is not the end, what you do with the rank and the responsibilities that come with it counts tremendously.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, Comptroller Mercy Usen Eduok thanked God for giving them these high positions in the service and appreciated the CGC and his management for considering them for the promotion.

She promised to deliver their best while performing their duties.

She said the promoted officers were highly motivated to remain committed and dedicated to the services of the Nigerian Customs and the nation in general.
