The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly,  Honorable Aondona Dajoh has said he is synergizing and closing ranks to bring home tangible dividends of democracy to the good people of Benue state.
According to Amb. Raphael Akume -Ityav,
Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, BSHOA ,the speaker stated this in Warri Delta state where he attended the thanksgiving Service of the Speaker of the 8th Delta state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Guwor Emomotimi Dennis.
The speaker said he shared many things in common with Rt. Hon. Emomotimi, from being the number 29 in the Assembly, God took Rt. Hon. Emomotimi to number one in the assembly and then number three citizen in Delta state. Hon. Dajoh recalls how God has raised him from being an ordinary man and a first-time legislator to be the speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly.
The speaker stated further that even though Benue State House of Assembly is older than Delta State, there is a lot Benue Assembly can learn from Delta because Delta Assembly is among the few state houses of Assembly in Nigeria that currently have their independence and enjoys financial autonomy.
“A Healthy partnership between Delta State Assembly and Benue can bring a positive impact on the lives of market women and youths in Benue considering the huge resources and potentials at the disposal of Delta.” Stated the Benue Speaker.
Hon. Aondona Dajoh prayed and wished Rt. Hon. Emomotimi the Delta speaker a fruitful reign as the speaker of the 8th Delta Assembly.
Speaking earlier,  the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly,  Rt. Hon. Guwor Emomotimi appreciated Hon. Aondona Dajoh  and thanked him specifically for the 250 tubers of yams he sent to him ahead of the Thanksgiving celebration and said “Benue has a special place in my heart.”
The event was attended by Speakers from Benue, Bauchi, Plateau, Enugu, Oyo, Taraba and Enugu states among others.
