NCPC boss mourns Dokpesi, describes him as “unifying factor in Nigeria”

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has mourned the death of Chief Raymond Dokpesi, describing him as unifying factor in Nigeria and will be greatly missed.

Pam, at a condolence visit to the family of the late media mogul and Chairman Emeritus of the DAAR Communications Plc, said that Dokpesi was a good man.

According to the executive secretary, Dokpesi left at a time this country needed him most; God knows why, we do not have answers to somethings.

He said that Dokpesi had helped in building the economy of Nigeria, contributed to employment generation and was able to introduce African content and cultural
background in Television broadcasting in Africa.

“We should be rest assured that we will miss him because of his wealth of experience,” he said.

The NCPC boss said that with the caliber of family that Dokpesi left behind, they would certainly be able to drive his dreams and ensure the continuity of his legacies.

Pam thanked the entire DAAR Communications team for always showcasing and projecting the laudable activities of the commission.

He said that the commission had a robust relationship with AIT over the years which would continue to be sustained.

He further affirmed that AIT has greatly help to boost the image of the commission especially in the coverage of pilgrimage activities within and outside the country.

Responding, Mr. Raji Dokpesi one of the sons of the late media mogul who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked the NCPC boss for the condolence visit and assured that they would build on the legacy of his late father and
ensure sustainability.
