Benue Gov-elect receives handover notes from Ortom

The Benue State Governor-Elect, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia Sunday May 28, 2023 received handover notes from the outgoing Governor, Samuel Ortom.

Speaking during the event which took place at the Old Banquet Hall of Government House, Makurdi, Fr. Alia simply thanked Governor Samuel Ortom for his efforts and services to the state.

Governor Samuel Ortom who welcomed the Governor-Elect and his entourage at the Government House, Makurdi, gave a short and compendious report of his stewardship as governor of Benue State across ministries, departments and agencies.

The Governor-Elect was accompanied by the Deputy Governor-Elect, Hon. Barrister Sam. Ode, and some members of the State working committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), amongst others.
