Benue APC guber candidate interacts with Tiv in Nasarawa,promises better welfare

The Gubernatorial Candidate of APC in the imminent March 11th Election ,Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia has visited Nasarawa State with some critical stakeholders of the party in Benue State where he had an interface with the unity-bound community.

The interaction was in view of the Governorship Election coming up this Saturday and ways to improve the welfare of the people if elected.

Speaking at the fora, the noble priest of the Most High said he was glad holding on with the teeming members who thought wise to live as one indivisible body so as to entrench Development and Progress.

According to Jerry Igbetar, Fr. Alia made his intentions know to the group of his resolve to bringing Benue State to the pedestal of unhindered Development, having been yoked under chronic backwardness ocassioned by the PDP led Government, saying the current position of Benue State in the comity of States is pitiable.

He said he was confident that his administration would advance a lot of gains to the generality of Benue people, while also calling on them to travel home so as to be part of the epoch making day of 11th March.

Fr. Alia was welcomed in the State by the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule who also spoke, saying the cords of peace existing between the Tiv and Nasaraw People since his administration was commendable, while also assuring them of more efforts towards the intensification of peace and harmony.

Governor Sule finally urged voters of both States to endeavor to be part of the forthcoming Governorship and State Assembly Elections and go out en mass to vote for APC, saying the return of Benue State into mainstream Politics and his reelection should be the desideratum of every Development-minded citizen of both Benue and Nasaraw State.
