Teachers, Doctors, and Nurses in remote areas will earn double what their counterparts in the towns and cities, earn, the Niger State APC governorship flag bearer, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has said if elected.

Bago made this known at Lefu ward in Gurara Local Government Area when his campaign train touched down in the local government.

He said the plan was to encourage workers in the remote areas to remain and give their best as he declared to sponsor ten students from the community to study medicine and twenty students to study nursing.

The APC flag bearer revealed further that as a short-term measure, he would provide them with boreholes to cushion the effect of the lack of potable water

While at Izom ward, he promised to empower women and build an ultra-modern market as he admonished women not to apply henna on their hands so that the BVAS would not have any problem recognizing their fingerprints.

Meanwhile, Sen. Sani Musa 313, the senator representing Niger East senatorial district (Zone B) has pledged to pay WAEC, NECO, and JAMB fees for students in the local government, writing the exams.

The highlight of the occasion was the official defection of the former secretary of the PDP of Gurara Local Government Area, Hon. Alhassan Bokolo and others.
